Privacy, in plain language.

The short version: available image and PDF page tools run locally. We do not receive, store, or inspect files used with those tools.

Local file processing

JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, and HEIC/HEIF operations, together with PDF merge, split, rotation, page organization, PDF-to-JPG rendering, and JPG-to-PDF creation, are completed by your web browser on your device. Selecting a file does not upload it to AnyFileTool. Download links use a temporary in-memory browser URL and disappear when you close or refresh the page.

Cloud document processing

Tools that require cloud processing will say so before upload. Office-to-PDF files are processed through Microsoft 365, while PDF-to-Word, Excel, or PowerPoint files are processed through Adobe PDF Services. Input and output files use private temporary storage and are scheduled for deletion after the stated retention period.

Information we may collect

Our hosting provider may process standard request data such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and timestamp for security and reliable delivery. We may collect aggregated product events such as a tool opening or a conversion succeeding, but these events do not contain file names or file contents.

Cookies and accounts

The current product does not require an account and does not use advertising cookies. If optional analytics or account features are added, this policy and the consent experience will be updated first.

Data sharing and training

We do not sell personal data. Files processed locally are not available to us and are not used to train AI models. Cloud tools send files only to the named provider required to complete the selected operation.
